A new volume in the Poster To Poster: Railway Journeys in Art series is set for release this Spring. Rails across America will be the ninth book in the UK-published series, which uses the theme of railway posters to link together an imagined rail trip.
As they “ride along”, readers explore not only the history and geography of each stop, but services that have been offered. Rails across America travels the US from the East to West Coast, offering a sample of poster development over 120 years.
Written by Richard Furness, in collaboration with Swann Galleries of New York City, the hardcover Rails across America is 272 pages in length. The book is set for a June 12th release. Further information about the Railway Journeys in Art series can be found at the link RAIL POSTERS.
